Step into one of the most fascinating and symbolic places on Earth — the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) — where history, culture, and the dream of reunification come together on the border between North and South Korea.
🕊️ Start at Imjingak Park — a peaceful gateway just outside the military-controlled zone. Here, you’ll see the Bridge of Freedom, where many of Korean War prisoners once crossed back home. Feel the weight of history as you stand where families were once reunited after years of separation.
🕳️ Then, get ready for an adventure underground! Explore the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, secretly dug by North Korea and discovered in the 1970s. Put on your helmet and head down into this narrow passageway — it’s like stepping into a spy movie! This tunnel could have carried thousands of troops to the South in under an hour… but now it’s a jaw-dropping tourist highlight.
🌄 Back above ground, ascend Mountain Dora and enjoy the sweeping view from the Dora Observatory. On a clear day, you might catch a glimpse of North Korean farmers in North Korea — no telescope required! It’s surreal, powerful, and unforgettable.
🏘️ Next, take a peaceful stroll through Unification Village, a small farming community near the DMZ that symbolizes peace and coexistence.
🚍 Your memorable journey ends with a comfortable ride back to Seoul, with drop-off options at Myeongdong or City Hall Station — wherever works best for your next adventure!
