Electronic Commerce Standard Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Purpose) 

  1. These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the I Love Seoul Tour cyber mall (hereinafter referred to as “the mall”) and its users regarding the use of Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as “services”) provided by I Love Seoul Tour Company (electronic commerce operator). 

  2. ※”These terms also apply to electronic commerce conducted via PC communication, wireless, etc., unless it contravenes the nature of such transactions.” 

Article 2 (Definition) 

  1. “Mall” refers to a virtual business place set up by the I Love Seoul Tour Company using computer and other information communication facilities to facilitate transactions of goods or services (hereinafter referred to as “goods, etc.”) to users, and also refers to the operator that runs the cyber mall. 

  2. “User” refers to anyone who accesses the mall and receives the services provided by the mall according to these terms. 

  3. “User” includes customers who have purchased goods from the mall, allowing for continued use of the services provided by the mall. 

Article 3 (Posting and Revision of Terms and Conditions) 

  1. The mall posts the contents of these terms, such as business registration number, address, phone number, email address, etc., on the initial service screen (footer) of the I Love Seoul Tour cyber mall so that users can easily know them. 

  2. The mall must provide a separate linked screen or pop-up screen to ensure that users can understand critical contents specified in the terms, such as refund, service change, and refund conditions. 

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Service) 

  1. The mall performs the following tasks: A. Providing information about goods or services and concluding purchase contracts. B. Providing goods or services for which purchase contracts have been concluded. C. Other tasks defined by the mall. 

  2. The mall shall post any changes to goods or services or their content and availability dates at the location where the current goods or content are posted. 

  3. If the mall changes the content of services contracted with users or due to changes in technical specifications, it must notify the mall. 

Article 5 (Interruption of Service) 

  1. The mall may temporarily suspend the provision of services if there is a need for maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information communication facilities or in cases of communication disruption. 

  2. The mall shall notify in advance of the temporary suspension of service for reasons mentioned in the first paragraph and is not responsible for any damages incurred by users or third parties due to this. However, in case of sudden changes, communication disruptions, or breakdowns, the mall must compensate any damages incurred by the affected users. 

Article 6 (Formation of Contract) 

  1. The contract is considered established when the mall’s acceptance is confirmed to the user in the form of a receipt confirmation notification. 

  2. The mall’s expression of acceptance must include information regarding the confirmation of the user’s purchase request, availability for sale, and details about the amendment or cancellation of the purchase request. 

Article 7 (Payment Method) 

  1. Payment methods for goods purchased from the mall can be made using the following available options: A. Various account transfers such as phone banking, internet banking, mail banking. B. Payments by various cards such as prepaid cards, debit cards, credit cards. C. Online non-bank deposits. D. Payments made by electronic money. E. Payment upon receipt. F. Payment using points such as mileage awarded by the mall. G. Payment by gift certificates contracted with or recognized by the mall. H. Other electronic payment methods. 

Article 8 (Receipt Confirmation Notification, Changes, and Cancellation of Purchase Requests) 

  1. The mall will send a receipt confirmation notification to users when they make a purchase. 

  2. Upon receiving the receipt confirmation notification, users may immediately request a change or cancellation of their purchase if there is a discrepancy in their intentions. The mall must process these requests appropriately before the trip if they are reasonable. 

Article 9 (Supply of Goods, etc.) 

  1. The mall will notify users of how to use the goods they purchased after confirming the reservation details. If the mall fails to notify the usage methods, it must compensate the user for any damages incurred, unless the mall can prove that it was not due to its intent or negligence. 

Article 10 (Refund) 

  1. If the goods or services purchased by the user cannot proceed due to local circumstances or unavoidable reasons, the mall will notify the user and if payment has been received in advance, will refund it within ten days of the start of the tour or take necessary steps for a refund. 

Article 11 (Protection of Personal Information) 

  1. The mall strives to protect the personal information of users according to the “Personal Information Protection Act” and other related laws. The protection and use of personal information are subject to the relevant laws and the mall’s privacy policy, except on linked sites outside of the mall. 

  2. The mall will not use the personal information provided by users for purposes other than those specified in these terms without the provider’s consent, nor will it provide it to third parties beyond the scope of the member services purpose without arbitrary reasons. 

Article 12 (Mall’s Obligations) 

  1. The mall shall not perform any acts contrary to the laws and must do its best to provide goods and services continuously and stably as specified in these terms. 

  2. The mall must equip a payment system to protect users’ personal information (including credit information) to ensure safe use of internet services. 

Article 13 (User’s Obligations) 

  1. Users shall not engage in the following activities: A. Registering false information at the time of application or modification. B. Unauthorized use of information from others. C. Altering information posted on the mall. D. Sending or posting information other than the information determined by the mall (e.g., computer programs). E. Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the mall or third parties. F. Damaging the reputation or interfering with the work of the mall or third parties. G. Posting obscene or violent messages, graphics, voices, or other information that goes against public morals on the internet shopping mall. H. Performing authentication procedures without the consent of the account holder. I. Acts that damage the honor of others or disadvantage them. J. Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information of other members. 

Article 14 (Ownership of Copyrights and Restrictions on Use) 

  1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the works created by the mall belong to the mall. 

  2. Users must not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use the information obtained by using the mall for profit-making purposes or allow third parties to use such information without the prior consent of the mall. 

  3. The mall must notify users if it uses copyright assigned to the users according to the agreement. 

  4. Photos or videos provided by the user to the travel practitioner with consent belong to the mall and can be used for operational, exhibition, and promotional purposes. 

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution) 

  1. In case of e-commerce disputes between the mall and users involving user damage relief requests, they will be handled according to the relevant laws and general customs.
